21, Xiexin Science and Technology announced that its Inner Mongolia Xinhuan Silicon Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The output quality fully meets the production requirements of N-type products.
The announcement pointed out that the Hohhot base is the fourth granular silicon production base of the company after Xuzhou, Leshan and Baotou, and the project officially started construction on November 21 , 2022, with a total construction period of 10 months . It has set the world's fastest record for the construction speed of 100000 tons of polysilicon projects. With the continuous optimization and upgrading of the modular system of granular silicon, the production capacity of the Hohhot base project will reach 120000 tons .
The company also said that with the upgrade iteration of 20000 tons of granular silicon modules to 60000 tons of modules, the construction cycle will be greatly reduced, the investment intensity will be reduced, the record of polysilicon manufacturing cost will be refreshed, and the photovoltaic industry will be promoted to reduce costs and increase efficiency, and low-carbon decarbonization. According to
the data, Inner Mongolia Xinhuan Silicon Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture between Xiexin Technology and TCL Technology in July 2022. Jiangsu Zhongneng Silicon Technology Development Co., Ltd. , the controlling shareholder of Xinhuan Silicon Energy, is a subsidiary of Xiexin Photovoltaic Power Technology Holding Co., Ltd. Tianjin Silica Material Technology Co., Ltd., another major shareholder of Xinhuan Silicon Energy, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TCL Technology.
In the first half of this year, the company shipped 23000 tons, 14500 tons and 79000 tons of granular silicon to the top three customers, accounting for 63.1% of the total granular silicon shipments in the first half of this year. At present, the company's granular silicon products have been applied to more than 90% of the single crystal customers in the market, and the head enterprises have achieved 100% coverage, with a market share of more than 15%.
