It is understood that in April this year, the Cangxi County Government said that Tongwei Group Yongxiang Co., Ltd. It is planned to build an intelligent manufacturing industrial park for crystalline silicon new materials and photovoltaics . The first phase of the project is to invest in the construction of an industrial silicon project with an annual output of 300000 tons, and to build an industrial silicon production line with an annual output of 100000 tons in advance. The planned land area is 500 mu, with an investment of 1.5 billion yuan, an annual output value of 2.5 billion yuan, an annual profit and tax of 500 million yuan, and employment of 500 people; Later, through industrial technological transformation, another 200000 tons of industrial silicon production line will be built.
On July 1, Tongwei and Cangxi County Government held a meeting on the promotion of the project elements of Tongwei Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Phase I with an annual output of 400,000 tons of green base materials (industrial silicon).
On August 1, Guangyuan Municipal People's Government, Cangxi County People's Government and Tongwei Co., Ltd. jointly held the signing ceremony of 400000 tons of green base material (industrial silicon) project in Tongwei International Center. Tongwei plans to invest 5.8 billion yuan in Cangxi County to build a crystalline silicon photovoltaic green base material (industrial silicon) project with an annual output of 400,000 tons. It is estimated that the annual output value will be about 8 billion yuan, the annual tax revenue will be 400 million yuan, and about 2000 new jobs will be created. It is the largest industrial manufacturing project introduced by Cangxi since the founding of the county.
