Digital New Energy DataBM. Com learned that on December 12, the production ceremony of the 10g W heterojunction battery monocrystalline silicon wafer project of Honghui New Energy, a subsidiary of Huamin Holdings, was held in Xuancheng, Anhui Province.
It is understood that the total investment of the project is 1 billion yuan, the project is implemented in two phases, the first and second phases of production capacity are 5G W respectively. This is the first phase of the project, which will start mass production after putting into operation, and is expected to reach production in March next year. The project covers an area of about 144 mu. Through advanced technology advantages such as ultra-thin, large-size cutting (half-cutting, thin-cutting, thin-washing) and digital flexible manufacturing, the project adopts N-type 210 half-rod ultra-thin cutting and supporting gettering technology to meet the basic demands of thinner silicon wafers and smaller tolerances for heterojunction batteries, and strives to become an advanced processing center for silicon wafers for heterojunction batteries.
In addition, on August 16 this year, Honghui New Energy and Huasheng New Energy signed a framework contract for the purchase and sale of monocrystalline silicon wafers for 15g W heterojunction batteries. The contract stipulates that from November 2023 to November 2026, Huasheng New Energy and its related parties plan to purchase a total of 15GW monocrystalline silicon wafers for heterojunction batteries from Honghui New Energy, with an annual purchase volume of about 5GW.
