On November 17, Inner Mongolia Yili Yidao New Energy Co., Ltd. officially put into operation a high-efficiency photovoltaic module project with an annual output of 4GW in Shagohuang area.
The project construction company Inner Mongolia Yili Yidao New Energy Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Yili Yidao") is jointly funded by Yili Resources Group and Yidao New Energy Technology Co., Ltd . In Ordos High-tech Zone, a research and development and production base for high-efficiency special photovoltaic modules in 10g W Shagohuang area is planned and constructed , with a total investment of about 5 billion yuan in fixed assets and liquidity, which is divided into two phases. The first phase is 4GW project and the second phase is 6GW project. According to the
data, on January 5, 2023, Yili Jieneng Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Yili Jieneng") signed a cooperation agreement with Yidao New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in Beijing. According to the agreement, the two parties plan to invest 4 billion yuan in Inner Mongolia to build a project with an annual output of 10g W high-efficiency batteries and 10g W Shagohuang dedicated photovoltaic modules. The two parties plan to complete their respective investment decisions in January, complete the registration and site selection design of the joint venture company in February, start construction of the project in March and put it into operation in September.
On March 7, Yili Jieneng successfully signed a 10GW high-efficiency dedicated photovoltaic module project with Yidao Xinneng, the People's Government of Dongsheng District of Inner Mongolia and the Management Committee of Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone. The process can produce N-type TOPCon and P-type PERC modules in 182x182mm and 210x210mm sizes. The product has the characteristics of high power, light weight, "0" light attenuation, low risk of cracking, good fire protection performance and wide application scenarios.
On September 20, the first batch of photovoltaic module production equipment of Yili entered the market.
