2022, TBEA announced that the company's holding subsidiary Xinte Energy, with its wholly-owned subsidiary Xinte Silicon Material Company as the main body, invested in the construction of a green low-carbon circular economy project with an annual output of 200000 tons of high-end electronic-grade polysilicon in Zhundong Industrial Park, Changji, Xinjiang, with a total investment of about 17.6 billion yuan. It is divided into two phases of construction, each with a construction scale of 100,000 tons/year, and the construction period of the project is 24 months.
By the end of 2023, the company will have an annual production capacity of 300 thousand tons of polysilicon.
On November 15, the People's Government of Cangxi County, Sichuan Province released the first public announcement of the environmental impact assessment of the photovoltaic silicon material manufacturing project (Phase I industrial silicon project) of Tongwei Green Base Material (Guangyuan) Co., Ltd .
According to Digital New Energy DNE, in April this year, Cangxi County Government said that Tongwei Tongwei Group Yongxiang Co., Ltd. It is planned to build an intelligent manufacturing industrial park project for new crystalline silicon materials and photovoltaics, invest in the first phase of the project with an annual output of 300000 tons of industrial silicon, and build a production line of 100000 tons of industrial silicon in advance, with a planned land area of 500 mu and an investment of 1.5 billion yuan. The annual output value is 2.5 billion yuan, the annual profit and tax is 500 million yuan, and 500 people are employed. In the later stage, the industrial silicon production line of 200,000 tons will be built through industrial technological transformation.
On July 1, Tongwei and Cangxi County Government held a meeting on the promotion of the project elements of Tongwei Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Phase I with an annual output of 400,000 tons of green base materials (industrial silicon).
On August 1, Tongwei signed the Investment Agreement for 400000 Tons of Green Base Material (Industrial Silicon) Project with Guangyuan People's Government of Sichuan Province and Cangxi County People's Government. Tongwei plans to invest 5.8 billion yuan in Cangxi County to build a green base material (industrial silicon) project with an annual output of 400000 tons of crystalline silicon photovoltaic, which is expected to achieve an annual output value of about 8 billion yuan, an annual tax revenue of 400 million yuan and a new job of about 2000 people. It is the largest industrial manufacturing project introduced by Cangxi since the founding of the county.
