In order to further strengthen the management of river sand mining, standardize the management of river sand mining in Yidu City, continue to promote the special law enforcement action of river and lake safety protection, and ensure that the management order of river sand mining in Yidu City is stable and controllable. In accordance with the requirements of "unified deployment, unified time, unified organization and unified action", Yidu actively organized, coordinated and participated in the joint law enforcement action of river sand mining management in the third quarter of the province (code "2023-Linkage 3").
On September 21, the Yidu Water Administration Supervision Brigade, together with the Yidu Maritime Department of the Yangtze River Maritime Affairs and the Yidu Police Station of the Changhang Public Security Bureau, carried out a joint law enforcement action in the Yangtze River waters under the jurisdiction of Yidu City, and the provincial supervisory group conducted on-site supervision on the development of the action in Yidu City. A total of 9 law enforcement officers and 1 supervisory boat were dispatched in this operation. The action focuses on checking whether there are invisible sand dredgers, all kinds of illegal sand mining activities, illegal activities affecting flood discharge and river safety in sand yards within the scope of river management, and centralized berthing supervision of sand dredgers. The joint law enforcement action found no violations of laws and regulations in the waters of Yidu City, and the supervisory group of the provincial department fully affirmed the management of sand mining in the rivers of Yidu City.
The joint law enforcement action effectively strengthened the communication and cooperation between departments, and further promoted the scientific, institutionalized and standardized management of sand mining in Yidu City. Next, Yidu will continue to maintain a high-pressure situation, resolutely consolidate the responsibility of river sand mining management, strengthen routine inspection and joint law enforcement, keep the bottom line of river basin safety, ensure the safety of river water ecological environment, and jointly maintain a good ecological environment with clear water, green banks and smooth rivers.
