river restoration. Xingshan County is located in the functional area of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, which is an important ecological barrier of the Yangtze River Economic Zone and Shennongjia National Park. In view of the problems found by the inspection feedback and the self-examination of the main responsible departments, the Discipline Commission of Xingshan County has carried out special rectification of prominent problems such as illegal sand mining, followed up and supervised around the list of rectifica tion responsibilities, set up special classes to carry out supervision and inspection along rivers by using the first-line working method, and resolutely rectified the corruption behind illegal sand mining. Efforts should be made to compact the main responsibility and supervision responsibility of the functional departments.
"We have set up a list of 16 problems found in the previous supervision and inspection, and implemented closed-loop management of the whole process." The relevant person in charge of the Fourth Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group dispatched by the County Discipline Commission said that through synchronous feedback to the county-level leaders, departments involved in linkage rectification and supervision, the chain of responsibility for rectification was extended to effectively transmit pressure to promote the rectification. Up to now, all 16 problems have been rectified and sold.
At the same time, through the county-wide review and investigation force, five working groups were set up by "one team member + discipline inspection and supervision office + discipline inspection and supervision group + township discipline inspection commission" to supervise 21 key issues such as inaction, slow action and inadequate rectification of feedback problems behind illegal sand mining. Up to now, 8 people have been examined and investigated, and 1 person has been detained.
The County Discipline Commission has also improved the closed-loop supervision of "finding problems, directional feedback, dynamic tracking, promoting reform and governance", urged the departments of water conservancy and ecological environment to establish seven institutional mechanisms such as "Measures for River Management in Xingshan County", and the functional departments of towns and counties directly under the county level to carry out the "four disorders" of rivers and reservoirs and the demonstration construction of the Blue Water Defense War. Seventeen kilometers of rivers have been restored to achieve full coverage of 22 county-managed rivers, 47 town-managed rivers, 16 reservoirs and 432 small and micro water bodies, and 156 rivers with full coverage of ecological runoff.
"We will continue to supervise and follow up accurately, intensify the investigation and punishment of problems in the field of ecological environment, consolidate the responsibilities of functional departments, and promote the formation of a working pattern of joint governance and common development, so as to build a strong ecological barrier in the Xiangxi River Basin with the effectiveness of supervision." The principal person in charge of the County Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision said.
