With ecological, social and economic benefits, the project is expected to provide 70 million tons of green machine-made sand and gravel aggregates for cities in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River every year, help Qichun County develop its economy, society and ecology with high quality, and accelerate the construction of Huanggang as a regional central city in eastern Hubei Province. According to the China Sandstone Association, the Shiguchong Green Building Material Base Project in Qichun County, Hubei Province is located at the junction of Liuhe, Lion and Qingshi Towns in Qichun County, with an area of 6179 mu, a total investment of about 14.3 billion yuan, a construction and operation period of 23 years, a resource reserve of about 1.25 billion tons, and an annual mining scale of 70 million tons. It is mainly composed of mining engineering, sand and gravel factory engineering, long rubber corridor engineering, wharf and land storage yard engineering, with a total annual throughput of 70 million tons.
The project plans to adopt the joint development and transportation scheme of highway and adit chute, with a total of three 8-meter-diameter chutes (two in the west ore section and one in the east ore section). The blasted ore is transported to the chute by truck, crushed by the underground crushing system, and transported to the side processing system of the mine by belt conveyor adit. The scheme has the advantages of short automobile transportation distance, mature technology, energy saving and consumption reduction, and large output. The
sand and gravel plant is arranged in a decentralized manner, consisting of a coarse crushing workshop, a semi-finished product storage yard, a medium crushing workshop and a mixture storage yard on the mine side. The mixture processing system is arranged 2km away from the southwest of the mining area, and the coarse crushing workshop is arranged underground. The finished product sand and stone plant consisting of the mixture storage yard at the wharf side, the finished product screening workshop, the fine crushing workshop, the sand making regulating material pile and the rod grinding (shaping) sand making workshop is arranged in the rear land area of Maoshan Wharf. All workshops are arranged on the ground. The two parts of sand and stone plants are connected by a long rubber corridor of 39.5 kilometers. The total length of the
long rubber corridor is about 39.5 kilometers, passing through five townships of Liuhe Town, Shizi Town, Zhulin Town, Hengche Town and Pengsi Town. The long rubber gallery is arranged in a single line. The gallery is about 6 meters wide. Considering the installation, overhaul, maintenance and other factors, the section covers a total area of 12 meters. The transported goods are gravel aggregate mixture with a particle size of less than 100 mm. The designed transport capacity is 15000 tons per hour, the designed belt width is 2400 mm, and the designed belt speed is 5.6 meters per second. The crossing points include rivers, highways, railways and other sensitive points.
The wharf is located at Chaoshuiji, Maoshan Operating Area, Pengsi Town. It is planned to construct eight 10000-ton bulk cargo export berths. The wharf structure is high-pile beam-slab structure. The length of the wharf shoreline is 1240 meters, equipped with 8 straight-line ship loaders of 4000 tons per hour, with an annual throughput capacity of 80.4 million tons per year for bulk cargo export, and the storage yard is designed for 7 days of inventory.
Qichun Shiguchong Green Building Material Base Project is the "vanguard" project of Chinese-style modernization development, and it is also an important strategic measure to actively build a green mining security system and promote the rapid development of local economy and society.
