Xiaochang, Xiaogan, Hubei: Strengthen Preventive Measures to Prevent Illegal Sand Mining

On June 1, the River Sand Office of Xiaochang County, Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, organized the staff of Xiaohe Town Government, the staff of Xiaochang County Forestry Bureau and the Secretary of Huanghu Village to cut off five sand theft channels in Huanghu Village.

At the site of deforestation and sand mining, the law enforcement officers of Xiaochang County River Sand Office, the county forestry Bureau and the government staff of Xiaohe Town offered suggestions on how to prevent the illegal river sand mining personnel from using geographical and jurisdictional factors to carry out the illegal river sand mining, and exchanged their good experiences and practices.

Next, Xiaochang County River Sand Office will actively communicate and dock with Xiaohe Town Government and Xiaochang County Forestry Bureau, strengthen the inspection and squatting of Huanghu Village River Section in Xiaohe Town, conduct all-weather peak staggering inspection, and strictly prevent the rebound of illegal sand mining.
