The announcement shows that Hongyuan Energy Technology (Baotou) Co., Ltd. has invested 4520 million yuan in 100000 tons of high-purity silicon project (Phase II) , with an annual output of 50000 tons of high-purity polysilicon . The production process of improved Siemens method is adopted. The planned construction period is 12 months, and the construction period is from September 2023 to August 2024.
Hongyuan Energy Technology (Baotou) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hongyuan Green Energy. It plans to build a project with an annual output of 150,000 tons of high-purity industrial silicon and 100,000 tons of high-purity crystalline silicon. It is located in Jinshan Industrial Park, Baotou, Guyang County, covering an area of about 1700 mu. The project, with a total investment of 11.8 billion yuan , was started in March 2022. Up to now, about 7.8 billion yuan has been invested, 65% of the planned investment has been completed, and the first phase of construction has been completed and put into operation on July 15, 2023.
The main construction contents include: electrolytic water hydrogen production unit, cold hydrogenation unit, rectification unit (including rectification, adsorption and anti-disproportionation), reduction unit, tail gas recovery unit, post-treatment unit (including high purity water station), slurry high boiling treatment unit, process waste gas treatment unit and other main projects; Storage tank area (including unloading area) and other storage projects; desalted water station, refrigeration station, water supply, power supply, sewage treatment station and other public works; other public auxiliary works are based on the 100,000-ton high-purity crystalline silicon project (Phase I) of Hongyuan Energy Technology (Baotou) Co., Ltd. The main construction contents are as follows: 10 silicon powder production lines (6 silicon powder production lines in 1 # silicon powder preparation workshop and 4 production lines in 2 # silicon powder preparation workshop), 1 silicon powder warehouse, 1 control room, 1 analysis room, 1 power distribution room, 1 air compressor room, 1 office building, 1 solid waste temporary storage room, 1 hazardous waste temporary storage room and 1 septic tank. The total investment of the project is 300 million yuan, including 3 million yuan for environmental protection, accounting for 1% of the total investment.
