According to the agreement, the three provinces will highlight cooperation in key areas, focus on the linkage of science and technology, industry, transportation, ecology, culture and tourism, openness and people's livelihood to promote comprehensive cooperation throughout the province, plan major projects and major issues with cross-regional cooperation as the focus, and promote the linkage development of the three provinces and the construction of urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River to make new progress and achievements.
Among them, the co-prosperity of science and technology is placed in a prominent position. The
three provinces will build a high-level laboratory system, a scientific and technological innovation platform, and a major scientific infrastructure cluster to jointly tackle key core technologies and promote the transformation of scientific research achievements. The key points include: accelerating the construction of Wuhan East Lake, Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan and Poyang Lake national independent innovation demonstration zones, promoting Wuhan-Yueyang-Changsha-Nanchang-Jiujiang innovation cooperation; actively supporting deep geotechnical engineering disturbance simulation, traditional Chinese medicine germplasm, agricultural microorganisms, Hanjiang laboratory projects, and actively applying for major national science and technology infrastructure; We will promote universities, institutes and enterprises in the three provinces to jointly undertake major national science and technology projects, jointly compile industrial chain innovation maps, explore and promote mutual investment of government-guided science and technology innovation funds in the three provinces, and encourage mutual establishment of venture capital funds.
On the one hand, we should give full play to the role of Donghu Science City, Xiangjiang Science City and Nanchang Future Science City as platforms for gathering innovative elements, and promote the cooperation and docking of the three major science and technology corridors on both sides of the Guanggu, the West Bank of the Xiangjiang River and the Ganjiang River, in the fields of aerospace, biomedicine, new materials and Beidou space-time information. Jointly build a batch of national strategic emerging industrial bases; meanwhile, support Ganzhou Rare Earth New Materials and Application Cluster, Yingrao Fuchang Copper Base New Materials Cluster, Changsha Construction Machinery Cluster and New Generation Independent Security Computing System Cluster, Wuhan Optoelectronic Information Cluster to build world-class advanced manufacturing clusters.

With the full construction of Chang-Gan Railway and Yichang high-speed rail, the inter-provincial bottleneck roads and broken roads are speeding up, and the "one-hour economic circle" of the three provinces is speeding up its formation. Next, the three provinces will work together to promote the construction of major cross-regional and cross-basin infrastructure, and jointly promote the construction and upgrading of transportation hubs, railways, highways, shipping, ports and aviation.
