Recently, an online "Three-year Action Plan for Air Pollution Prevention and Control of Urban Agglomerations in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River (2026-2028)" (draft for comments) put forward a number of requirements for the cement industry in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River: 1. Strictly control production capacity, the energy effect of new projects reaches the benchmark level, and the environmental performance reaches A-level; 2. Implement differentiated off-peak production, and key cities will withdraw from clinker production lines below 2500t/d; 3. By 2028, the proportion of clean transportation will strive to be 50%, the transformation of ultra-low emissions will be basically completed, and the performance of clinker enterprises in key cities will reach Grade A.
