On May 31, the excavation of the exit section of the Gansu-Qinghai Tunnel of the Xicheng Railway, which was constructed by the Second Bureau of China Railway, was completed.
Gansu-Qinghai Tunnel is a first-class high-risk tunnel, which is an early control project of Xicheng Railway, with a total length of 22.38 kilometers. The main line of the exit section of Gansu-Qinghai Tunnel constructed by the Second Bureau of China Railway is 10.496 kilometers, of which the tunnel is 10.4 kilometers long. This section of tunnel is located in Huangnan Xizangan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, with an elevation of 2750-3220 meters. It adopts the construction measures of "main tunnel + two inclined shafts + parallel guide", facing the construction problems of "three high and three big" such as high requirements for winter construction, high requirements for environmental protection, high construction risk, difficult ventilation, difficult construction organization and high pressure of construction period. Since entering the site in October
2020, the project management team has focused on site management and control, striving to improve site construction efficiency and reduce process cycle time. Adhere to the mechanization and informatization leading construction based on the drilling and blasting method, carefully study the construction method and process of "mechanical supporting of drilling and blasting method"; build the informatization center to realize the information integration of construction production safety, quality, progress and other aspects, so as to achieve accurate informatization management and effectively guide the site construction. Strengthen safety and quality management and control, in view of the complex strata involved in the tunnel body, many times through the fault structure, fold structure, there is a bias phenomenon, easy to collapse, block, deformation and instability, the project team through safety penetration supervision and management, strengthen the first-line supervision and inspection of construction, to ensure timely rectification of problems found, and maintain a good situation of safety and quality since the start of construction.
It is reported that Xicheng Railway is also a convenient passageway from Xining (Lanzhou) to Chengdu, an integral part of the medium and long-term high-speed railway network "eight vertical and eight horizontal" Zhonglan (West) Guangzhou high-speed rail corridor, a main passenger transport corridor from Qing and Xin to Southwest China, which will strengthen the links between Lanxi Urban Agglomeration and Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration and implement the western region in the new era. It is of great significance to promote the coordinated development of regional economy.
