On July 7, the Development and Reform Commission of Linxi County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, issued a statement on the approval of the cancellation of the first phase ( photovoltaic part) of the integrated project of wind and solar hydrogen production in Linxi County, China Coal. According to
the document, the Linxi County Development and Reform Commission agreed to cancel the project due to "major changes" in the first phase of the integrated project of wind and solar hydrogen production in Linxi County.
However, it is noteworthy that the photovoltaic part of the project was cancelled on the same day (July 7). The first phase of the 100,000-kilowatt photovoltaic power generation part, the first phase of hydrogen production part and the first phase of green methanol part of the integrated project of wind and solar hydrogen production in Linxi County of China Coal have been put on record again.
It is reported that the photovoltaic part of the project has been filed for the first time on May 19, 2025.
The project declaration unit is China Coal (Linxi) Bioenergy Co., Ltd., a secondary subsidiary of China Coal Group, and the project code is 2505-150424-04-01-866682.
According to the latest record data, China Coal Linxi County Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Project (Phase I 100000 kW Photovoltaic Power Generation Part) is located in Shiertu Township, Linxi County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The planned construction period of the project is from October 2025 to December 2026. The total investment of the
project is 313.06 million yuan. It is planned to use 166,998 N-type double-sided 720 Wp photovoltaic modules , with an AC side capacity of 100MW and a DC side installed capacity of 120. 23856 MWp.
The project adopts 300 sets of 320kW string inverters, supporting 1600kVA, 2000kVA and 3200kVA box-type transformers, 34 photovoltaic power generation units, one 220kV booster station and one 96 MVA220/35kV main transformer. According to the relevant regulations of forestry, this project adopts the mode of " complementary forest and light" to construct this project.
