On December 13, Jiangsu Yisheng 12 GW Heterojunction Battery Project was officially started in Tongzhou District, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province.
It is reported that the "New Energy 12 GW Heterojunction Battery Project" is planned to be constructed in three phases. The first phase of 3GW is planned to be completed in September 2024, with an estimated total investment of about 2 billion yuan. After the completion of the first phase of 3GW project and reaching the production capacity, the second phase of 3GW and the third phase of 6GW project will be started according to the situation. The overall project is expected to be completed and operated in 2025.
The project is a high efficiency heterojunction (HJT) cell, which uses G12 half silicon wafer (210mm * 105mm full square wafer). The process flow of the product mainly includes: pre-cleaning/gettering, silicon wafer texturing and cleaning, PECVD deposition of intrinsic amorphous silicon films and doped microcrystalline silicon films on the front and back sides, PVD deposition of TCO films on the front and back sides, screen printing of grid electrodes on the front and back sides, and low-temperature curing. 2022, the Three-Five Interconnection announced that it would invest in the construction of "5GW Ultra-High Efficiency Heterojunction (HJT) Battery 5G Intelligent Factory" project, with a total investment of about 2.5 billion yuan, to enter the photovoltaic industry .
