On September 10, China Bidding Public Service Platform issued an invitation to tender announcement for the 500000 kilowatt photovoltaic sand control project (EPC design and construction general contracting) in Hetian County, Xinjiang.
The announcement shows that the project is located in Hotan, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and the tenderer is Beijing Zhonggong Energy Group Co., Ltd. The self-raised fund of the project is 900 million yuan , and the current bidding method is invitation to tender.
It is understood that the project plans to build a new photovoltaic scale of 500000 kilowatts , and synchronously build a 50000 kilowatt/100000 kilowatt-hour energy storage system . A new 220kV booster station and corresponding transmission project will be built, and ancillary facilities such as 35kV collector lines and comprehensive facilities will be built. In addition, this bidding project is divided into one bid section. In terms of
performance, this tender requires bidders to provide similar performance in the past five years, from January 1, 2020 to the present, and the performance is subject to the time of contract signing. At the same time, the bidder must provide at least one general contracting project or construction general contracting project of photovoltaic power generation project with installed capacity of 100MW and above , and must provide the letter of acceptance and construction contract (Part I). In terms of
construction period, the general contracting period of the project is 12 months (subject to the signing of the contract, including the winter break). Consortium bidding is not allowed for
this project . The bid
closing/opening time is 9:30 on September 30, 2025.
