Recently, the pilot Qingkou Saltworks 250 MW fishing-photovoltaic complementary "photovoltaic composite" project officially started construction .
It is understood that the project is invested and constructed by Pioneer Science and Technology Group , which is a new project with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan . It is proposed to rent about 4250 mu of aquaculture water surface of Qingkou Saltworks in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province for construction and operation.
The environmental impact assessment documents disclose that the project plans to use 630Wp double-sided double-glass N-type photovoltaic modules , with a total of 473356 blocks and a DC side capacity of 298.2m W . AC side capacity 250MW , At the same time, a supporting 220kV booster station will be built, and the " project is planned to adopt the "fishing-photovoltaic complementary" mode. That is to say, a photovoltaic panel array is erected above the water surface of the fish pond, and fish and shrimp are cultured in the water area below the photovoltaic panel, thus forming a new power generation mode of "generating electricity at the top and raising fish at the bottom" .
According to the plan, the construction period of the project is 12 months , and it is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2026. Previously, on May 19, 2025, the Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau of Lianyungang Economic and Technological Development Zone in Jiangsu Province had accepted the EIA documents of the project.
