On September 19, the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission issued the Notice on Further Improving the Construction of New Energy Storage for Renewable Energy Power Generation Market-oriented Grid-connected Projects. According to the Notice, wind power projects (including onshore wind power projects, offshore wind power projects and non-full-capacity grid-connected projects) have increased grid-connected capacity and capacity of upgrading projects. Excluding all self-generated and self-used decentralized wind power projects), as well as onshore centralized photovoltaic power generation projects and offshore photovoltaic projects (fixed pile foundation type) newly included in the project bank, should be self-built. Joint construction or purchase of new energy storage methods to implement market-oriented grid-connected conditions .
"Notice" points out that the market-oriented grid-connected projects of renewable energy generation in Jiangsu Province no longer distinguish the proportion of new energy storage according to the south and north of the Yangtze River, but should construct new energy storage according to the proportion of 10% or more of power (for 2 hours) . The supporting new energy storage can be combined with the nearby layout of the project, and can also be constructed or leased within the province. The grid-connected time of the new energy storage project shall not be later than grid-connected time of the supporting renewable energy generation. Energy storage projects are encouraged to be built first and then allocated , and the new shared energy storage that has been connected to the grid can provide energy storage capacity leasing services for renewable energy power generation projects in the province according to the grid-connected capacity.
