US Building Material Prices Rise in Response to "Wind"

Ken Simonson, chief economist of the Associated General Contractors of America Simonson said at the semi-annual legislative meeting in Washington that Hurricane Katrina will further increase the price of building materials by 10% next year, higher than original estimate of 6% to 8%.
