Titan Cement USA Acquires S & W Ready-Mixed Concrete

< DIV > Titan, a Greek company based in the United States, said recently that it had acquired S & & W Ready-Mix Concrete Company, a major supplier to the North and South California concrete markets in the coastal region of the United States.
< DIV > Titan will pay $235 million, plus working capital and other adjustments, in cash for the entire S & & W Ready-mixed Concrete Co.
< DIV > stated that the acquisition of S & & W has refined Titan's growth strategy and accelerated the company's expansion plans in Northern California.
< DIV > In 2006, the market demand was extremely high, and S & & W's profit tax, depreciation and amortization income reached 48 million US dollars. The company has 26 ready-mix concrete plants, all strategically located in Myrtle Beach, Southern California, Wilmington, Northern California and other regions with rapid market development.
Titan USA, headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, is one of the leading manufacturers of heavy construction materials in the eastern United States. Its Greek parent company, Titan Cement, has 11 cement plants worldwide in six different countries and is headquartered in Athens, Greece.
