On December 19, Yingli Energy announced that it had recently signed a component supply agreement.
According to the agreement, Yingli will provide 1.25 gigawatt Panda N-type TOPCon high-efficiency photovoltaic modules for the Saad 2 photovoltaic project in Saudi Arabia developed by ACWA Power. The project is also an important part of the third round of photovoltaic project planning of the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF).
Saad 2 PV project has a total installed capacity of 1.25 GW. As a large-scale renewable energy project in the Middle East, the project is developed by ACWA Power, the leading renewable energy developer in the Middle East, and EPC is jointly executed by East China Institute of Power Construction and Shandong Electric Power Construction Third Company.
This project is also another milestone project of Yingli's cooperation with ACWA Power and China Power Construction East China Institute in the Middle East region after participating in the supply of 575 MW Ibri2 project in Oman.
