Nigeria BUA Cement Company is accelerating infrastructure construction and plans to build two large-scale production facilities to expand production capacity and market coverage. Managing Director Yusuf Binji disclosed the strategic deployment at the online release of the 2025 annual audit financial results. The
company plans to build a greenfield cement plant with an annual output of 3 million tons in Ososo, Edo State, which is expected to be put into operation in December 2027, followed by a brownfield project of the same scale in Sokoto State, which is scheduled to be completed in December 2028. Mr Binji said the investments were an important part of the company's overall strategy to drive revenue growth and improve margins. He stressed that the strong financial performance of BUA Cement in 2025 was due to strict cost control and strategic pricing strategy.
