Among them, the growth rate of construction industry reached 10.8%, which is in a state of high-speed growth and is the main driving force for economic growth. During the year, the post-disaster reconstruction work in Turkey entered the peak period of construction, and housing reconstruction and infrastructure rehabilitation brought a lot of demand. At the same time, the Turkish government allocated 1.9 trillion Turkish lira for the construction of large-scale transport and energy infrastructure projects, and a number of national railways began large-scale construction. In addition, driven by policies such as legislative support and low-interest loans, there is a large demand for renovation of private housing in Istanbul and other major cities in Turkey.
Affected by this, from January to November 2025, Turkey's domestic cement sales reached 70.985 million tons, an increase of 8.0% over the same period last year, and domestic demand shrank slightly. Cement sales in Turkey increased in all regions except the Marmara and Aegean regions.
