Morocco's construction industry continues to grow strongly. According to the Ministry of Land Renovation, Urban Planning, Housing and Urban Policy of Morocco, by the end of August 2025, the national cement delivery volume reached 9.63 million tons, an increase of 10.38% over the same period last year, indicating the simultaneous expansion of infrastructure and real estate projects. From the perspective of
demand structure, the distribution channel accounts for the highest proportion, reaching 5.27 million tons; the output of ready-mixed concrete is 2.42 million tons; the consumption of prefabricated component plants is 984,000 tons; the demand of infrastructure projects is 628,000 tons; the consumption of housing construction is 280,000 tons; and the production of mortar is only 44,000 tons. Multiple demands jointly support the expansion of the industry. In August
alone, 1.34 million tons were delivered, an increase of 6.54% over the same period last year, continuing the growth momentum without fear of seasonal fluctuations. Cement sales are highly compatible with Morocco's "2030 World Cup", renewable energy, new town construction and other national projects, and become a barometer of investment enthusiasm and confidence. The double-digit growth rate indicates that public and private projects are speeding up simultaneously, promoting employment and boosting regional economic diversification.
