In 2025, Iran is facing multiple pressures such as geopolitical tensions, continued international sanctions, currency devaluation and inflation, and its economic growth is sluggish and its economy is close to zero growth. Specifically, due to high inflation and delays in government spending, construction of infrastructure projects has been hindered, and the threat of war has reduced the demand for long-term construction projects such as housing, cement consumption performance is very low. According to the data and estimates of Iran Cement Association, Iran's cement consumption will drop to about 58.5 million tons in 2025, down 10% year-on-year.
