Argentina's Colsecor Foundation recently released a monthly price report tracking the prices of cement, gasoline and diesel, three key inputs in construction, production and transportation, covering the average price levels of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA) and 32 cities and towns in the hinterland. The field data collection was completed in the first week of March 2026. The survey covered seven provinces, Cordoba, Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Entre Ríos, La Pampa, Rio Negro and Tucumán, and was carried out in collaboration with public service cooperatives. In terms of
cement prices, in March 2026, cement prices in the cities and towns surveyed in the mainland rose by 4.8%, compared with 1.3% in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires. In absolute terms, the average price in the interior is 14324 pesos, which is still lower than 15800 pesos in the capital.
