Russia's largest cement producer, has announced that employees at its management companies and factories will switch to a four-day work week from October 1, 2025. The reason for this measure is the decrease in cement consumption and the increase in the share of imported cement in the Russian market. The company noted that the decision was "forced but balanced" and aimed to "maintain long-term stability and social balance in unstable times". With 18 factories and non-metallic material mining sites, the company will return to a normal mode of operation when domestic demand for its products recovers. Company management says it is committed to retaining qualified employees.
