CITIC Bo announced on October 25 that in order to optimize the layout of overseas production capacity and enhance sales coverage and service support in Latin America, the company built a 3GW production base through its Brazilian subsidiary, with a total investment of no more than 430 million yuan.
Previously, the company registered in Brazil in March 2023 to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary, CITIC Bo Brazil Limited Liability Company, as a window for the company to develop its market in Latin America. According to InfoLink Consulting, China's total exports of photovoltaic modules to the Americas reached 24.8GW in 2022, up 50% year-on-year, with most of the increase coming from the Brazilian market, according
to CITIC Bo. According to IEA data, Brazil's new PV installed capacity reached 9.9 GW in 2022, ranking fifth in the global new market.
The construction of production base in Brazil can enhance the company's sales coverage and service support of delivery capacity in Latin America, and promote the realization of the company's global strategic objectives. According to
the data, CITIC Bo was founded in 2009. After 14 years of development, the company has become the world's leading manufacturer and solution provider of photovoltaic tracking brackets, fixed brackets and BIPV systems, and ranked among the top five photovoltaic tracking brackets in the world between 2016 and 2020. In August 2020, the company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and became the first photovoltaic bracket leader on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
By the end of 2022, the operating income of CITIC Bo is as follows: the photovoltaic industry accounts for 99.57%.
