A few days ago, police in yuanling County, Hunan Province, destroyed a full-chain criminal gang of illegal sand mining, detained 32 criminal suspect according to law, banned five illegal sand mining and sand-making sites, and seized eight illegal sand mining equipment and more than 10000 cubic meters of sand and gravel on the spot.
Previously, when the police of yuanling County carried out ecological inspection, they found that the river sand in Shuxi River Basin of Shaojiwan Town had been exploited on a large scale, which caused serious damage to the surrounding ecological environment and affected the production and life of residents along the coast. The police contacted the relevant departments and learned that the river section was not allowed to excavate sand. After grasping the relevant situation, the Forest Public Security Bureau of yuanling County mobilized its capable forces to set up a special task force to carry out a survey of the situation of illegal sand mining in the basin. With the in-depth investigation of the case, an illegal sand mining criminal gang engaged in sand mining, transportation, loading and unloading, and sales surfaced.
After locking in the law and trajectory of 32 criminal suspect, the police of the special task force recently arrested the criminal suspect. After interrogation, Li Mou-mou, Zhang Mou-mou, Liu Mou-mou and others confessed that by dividing the "sphere of influence", they illegally mined sand and gravel in the Shuxi River Basin without a river sand mining license, and then sold them to yuanling, Chenxi, Luxi and other places, involving more than 4 million yuan.
