On October 7, Beishan Town, Longhui County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, organized a special action deployment meeting for illegal sand mining in rivers, which was attended by all village cadres and village Party branch secretaries.
The meeting pointed out that this year, the whole county has worked together to continuously promote the standardized management of river sand mining, strengthen daily supervision and law enforcement, and severely crack down on illegal sand mining, which has achieved remarkable results, and the management of illegal sand mining in the county has shown a good trend. In order to further consolidate the hard-won good situation, maintain the high-pressure situation of cracking down on illegal sand mining, and comprehensively improve the management level of river sand mining in Longhui County, according to the requirements of the higher authorities, Beishan Town has decided to organize and carry out illegal sand mining control actions throughout the town from now on.
The meeting demanded that, first, we should crack down on illegal sand mining, and all villages (communities) should carry out regular inspection and inspection, focusing on key river sections, border sections, adjacent areas, sensitive waters, nights and holidays, and continue to strengthen the inspection and law enforcement work in the region, and early detection and early treatment of illegal and illegal issues within the jurisdiction; Secondly, we should strengthen the supervision of dredging sand and gravel comprehensive utilization projects, and severely crack down on illegal sand mining in the name of dredging.
