On September 7, Yiyang City held the second meeting of the Leading Group on River Sand Mining Management. Liu Yonghui, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, executive vice mayor and leader of the Municipal River Sand Mining Management Leading Group, attended the meeting, and He Juntian, vice mayor and deputy leader of the Municipal River Sand Mining Management Leading Group, presided over the meeting.
The meeting heard reports on the management of river sand mining from the office of the leading group of the city's river sand mining management, three counties and municipalities, and relevant member units directly under the city, analyzed the current situation of river sand mining, and deployed the next stage of work.
He Juntian requests that the approval procedures should be handled in place, the monitoring platform and environmental monitoring facilities should be built in place, and the sand-related problems should be rectified and implemented in place to ensure that mining is carried out in accordance with the law and regulations; the mechanism and system should be improved, the work of the previous stage should be comprehensively reviewed and sorted out, and the mechanism, strengths and weaknesses should be established to make up for shortcomings.
Liu Yonghui pointed out that the next stage of work should be carried out around the two key words of "rectification" and "mining". He stressed that we should raise our ideological awareness, adhere to the goal orientation, establish and improve a long-term management mechanism, and make every effort to rectify the problems, so as to provide strong support and a good external environment for the follow-up mining work. We should adhere to the overall planning of development and safety, strengthen the awareness of rules, a chess game and a fast half-beat, strengthen the coordination of departments, make every effort to do a full "advance" and do a good job in a new round of sand mining work in an effective and orderly manner.
