On August 6, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangsu Province issued a public announcement on the acceptance of EIA documents for the pilot project of Guohua Dongtai Zhugensha Z1 Wind and Solar Photovoltaic Offshore.
According to the announcement, the project will rely on the "Guohua Zhugensha H1 # offshore wind farm area sea area" in Zhugensha area of Jiangsu Province to build a new Guohua Dongtai Zhugensha Z1 wind and solar photovoltaic pilot project. The project is located in Yancheng , Jiangsu Province, with a total investment of about 3 billion yuan , and is constructed by Guohua (Jiangsu) Wind Power Co., Ltd .

The project plans to build a new 500 MW offshore photovoltaic power station. The construction contents include 646.86 MWp photovoltaic array on the DC side of the installed capacity, two 220kV outgoing submarine cables, three 35kV connecting submarine cables and one 220kV offshore booster station. The project is divided into 99 arrays (the capacity of each array is about 5000-5100kW). Every 30 PV modules are connected in series to form a branch, and 30 branches are connected to a series inverter . The sea area of this
project includes photovoltaic field area (including experimental floating photovoltaic demonstration platform and offshore booster station) and submarine cable area. The total sea area of the project is about 686.9723 hectares, including 525.4896 hectares of photovoltaic field area. The total duration of the
project is 18 months .
