Recently, Huineng Group started two major projects of comprehensive utilization of coal gangue, fly ash and solid waste resources, with a total investment of 137.1 billion yuan . The total installed capacity of new energy is 15GW .
Specifically, on July 21 , Huineng Group started the project of comprehensive utilization of 6 million tons of coal gangue, fly ash and solid waste resources in Duguitala Industrial Park, Hangjin Economic Development Zone, Ordos, Inner Mongolia. The total investment is 69.6 billion yuan , with an annual output of 2 million tons of high-end aluminum-silicon and silicon-aluminum-titanium alloys.
The project synchronously supports 7 GW new energy installation, including 6GW wind power project and 1GW photovoltaic project. Construct an off-grid integrated system of source, network, load and storage to realize the complementarity of wind and solar energy.

In addition to the above projects, on July 19, Huineng Group started the project of comprehensive utilization of 6 million tons of coal gangue, fly ash and solid waste resources in Dalu Industrial Park, Zhungeer Economic Development Zone, Ordos, Inner Mongolia. The total investment is estimated to be 67.5 billion yuan , with a total installed capacity of 8GW . After the completion of the

project, 6 million tons of coal-based solid waste will be consumed annually, and 2 million tons of aluminum-silicon and silicon-aluminum-titanium multi-component alloys will be produced. Among them, the first phase of 1 million tons of aluminum-silicon alloy and source-network-load storage project has a total investment of 36 billion yuan . After the project is put into operation, 2.6 million tons of coal-based solid waste can be consumed annually.
It is noteworthy that the project plans to build a complete integrated industrial system of source-network-load-storage with supporting wind power, photovoltaic, waste heat power generation and energy storage projects, and is committed to building the largest comprehensive utilization base of high-alumina coal-based solid waste resources and source-network-load-storage model project in China.
