On June 11, Tianzhi Material announced that recently, the company and its wholly-owned Sun Company Tinci Materials Jorf Lasfar SAS (hereinafter referred to as "Project Company") signed an investment agreement with the Kingdom of Morocco. The project company
intends to invest in the construction of a comprehensive base for the integrated production of electrolyte and raw materials in Morocco, with an annual output of 150000 tons of electrolyte products and key raw materials. The total investment of the project is estimated to be 2.576 billion Moroccan dirhams (about 280 million US dollars).
It is understood that Tianzhi Material entered the field of lithium-ion battery materials after 2010, and carried out the vertical integration layout of "electrolyte + lithium hexafluorophosphate". By 2025, its global market share of electrolyte exceeded 40%, ranking first in the industry for many consecutive years.
