On July 29, people familiar with the situation said that Feng Dengke, director of Haichen Energy Storage President Office and head of Engineering Department, was taken compulsory measures by Ningde police in Fujian Province last week on suspicion of infringing trade secrets.
It is understood that the Ningde Times took the initiative to report the case, and the Ningde Times has collected complete evidence and handed it over to the public security organs.
Feng Dengke worked as an equipment engineer in Ningde Times and was a subordinate of Wu Zuyu, the founder of Haichen Energy Storage. A person close to Haichen Energy Storage said that Feng Dengke had indeed been arrested.
In addition, in June this year, Ningde Times sued Haichen Energy Storage and its founder Wu Zuyu for "unfair competition disputes". The case will be heard on August 12 this year. Wu Zuyu and several senior executives of Haichen Energy Storage have served in Ningde Times. In March
this year, Haichen Energy Storage submitted its listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is now at a critical stage of the listing hearing. Some lawyers pointed out that if commercial theft is confirmed, Haichen Energy Storage IPO may be suspended by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange due to "internal control defects, trust and integrity of directors".
