On June 16, Xinjiang Shanneng Chemical Co., Ltd. invited public bidding for basic design services of hydrogen production plant by electrolysis of water for 800000 tons of annual coal-to-olefin project. The total scale of the hydrogen production plant by water
electrolysis is planned to be 120,000 Nm ³/H, which will be constructed in five phases, of which the 24,000 Nm ³/H hydrogen production plant by water electrolysis in the first phase will be constructed and put into operation simultaneously with the 800,000-ton/year coal-to-olefin project in Wucaiwan, Zhundong.
It is understood that the water electrolysis hydrogen production device of the project uses alkaline electrolysis method to produce 12000Nm ³/H hydrogen and 6000Nm ³/H oxygen. In
the basic year, 12 sets of 1000Nm ³/H electrolytic water hydrogen production devices of 1 series will be built, and 12 sets of 1000Nm ³/H electrolytic water hydrogen production devices of 1 series will be built every year. By the tenth year, 120 sets of 1000Nm ³/H electrolytic water hydrogen production devices of 10 series will be built, and green hydrogen and green oxygen will be supplemented year by year in ten years.
