On July 8, the Department of Natural Resources of Hunan Province learned that a major breakthrough had been made in lithium prospecting in Hunan Province, and a super-large altered granite-type lithium deposit had been successfully explored in Jijiaoshan mining area, Linwu County, Chenzhou City. A total of 490 million tons of lithium ore and 1.31 million tons of oxidized lithium resources have been submitted to
the deposit, which is equivalent to 13 large lithium deposits. As a key raw material for the lithium battery industry of new energy vehicles, it is known as "white oil".
In addition to the main mineral lithium, the deposit is also associated with tungsten, tin, niobium, tantalum, rubidium and other key strategic mineral resources, and all resources are new resources.
