In the first half of 2025, the total output of cement in CIS countries was 50.4 million tons, an increase of 1.6% over the same period last year, with significant differences within the region. Russia accounted for more than 55%, but output fell by 7.7%, as weak demand and blocked exports dragged down regional growth. The Central Asian plate jumped collectively, with double-digit growth in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries. The Caucasus region showed a trend of "one stability and two declines", with a slight decline of 4% in Azerbaijan and 18.1% in Armenia, mainly due to low demand, import shocks and equipment maintenance.
