On July 18, the tender announcement for EPC general contracting of energy storage project of Inner Mongolia Huadian Tengger 1 million kilowatt photovoltaic power generation phase II project was issued. The tenderer is Bayanhot Photovoltaic Branch of Inner Mongolia Huadian Tengger Green Energy Co., Ltd.
The tender announcement shows that the project is a 150 MW/300 MWh energy storage system for the second phase of the 1 million kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project of Inner Mongolia Huadian Tengger Base, which is arranged in two 220 kV booster stations that have been put into operation. Among them, 50 MW/100Mmh energy storage system is arranged for the energy storage battery in # 1 booster station, 100MW/200Mmh energy storage system is arranged for the energy storage battery in # 3 booster station, and the total scale of the energy storage system is 150MW/300MWh.
The project is scheduled to start on August 1, 2025, and will be connected to the grid with full capacity by October 31. The specific bidding scope is as shown in the figure below:
In addition to good operation, business reputation and corresponding qualifications, the bidder is required to have good performance from January 1, 2020 to the deadline for bidding (subject to the time of operation). It shall have at least 2 general contracting (or EPC or PC) operation performances of 200MWh and above energy storage power station construction; or have at least 2 wind power (or photovoltaic) EPC general contracting operation performances including 200MWh and above energy storage power station construction.
