It provides a strong guarantee of the rule of law to protect the green mountains and rivers and maintain the safety of environmental resources. During the ecological inspection, the
police found that the river sand in Shuxi River Basin of Shaojiwan Town had been exploited on a large scale, which caused serious damage to the surrounding ecological environment and the production and living environment of residents. The police immediately contacted the County Natural Resources Bureau and learned that the area was not allowed to excavate and mine. The Party Group of the Forest Public Security Bureau attached great importance to it and quickly mobilized its capable forces to set up a special task force to carry out a survey of the rampant illegal sand mining in the Shuxi River Basin of Shaojiwan Town. On September 26, the police of the special task force arrested 32 criminal suspect, such as Li Mou-mou, Zhang Mou-mou and Liu Mou-mou, banned five illegal sand mining and sand-making pits, seized eight illegal sand mining equipment and more than cubic meters of sand and stone 10000 on the spot, and seized the illegal sand mining equipment. It has completely destroyed an illegal mining criminal gang with a complete chain of "excavation, transportation, loading and unloading, and sales".
After interrogation, Li Mou-mou, Zhang Mou-mou, Liu Mou-mou and others truthfully confessed that they illegally mined sand and gravel in Shuxi River Basin by dividing their spheres of influence without a river sand mining license, and then sold them to yuanling, Chenxi, Luxi and other places, involving more than 4 million yuan.
