Recently, the Huaihe River Water Conservancy Commission carried out an inspection on the permitted sand mining and comprehensive utilization of mud and sand in Yihe and Shuhe rivers.

In order to further strengthen the management of sand mining in rivers and lakes directly managed by the Huaihe River Water Conservancy Commission and strengthen the supervision after the event, the Huaihe River Water Conservancy Commission recently carried out an inspection on the comprehensive utilization of sand mining and sediment in the Yihe River and Shuhe River.

The inspection team inspected the implementation progress and supervision of three licensed sand yards from Liangshui to Canglanggou in Yihe, Jiajiazhai Village to Dunzi Village in Shuhe, Gaoda Village to Songyuan Village in Yihe and the comprehensive utilization project of sand and gravel in Linyi Shuiyun Langya City Wenlu Complex, and inspected two projects to be carried out for comprehensive utilization of sand and gravel. They listened to the reports of sand mining management of various management units, consulted the relevant information such as on-site supervision accounts, and put forward rectification suggestions to the relevant units on the problems found in the inspection.

The inspection team pointed out that it is necessary to improve the political position, fully understand the importance of sand mining management under the new situation, compact the responsibility of sand mining management, strengthen on-site supervision, implement the requirements of side station supervision, make full use of Yishusi intelligent sand mining management information system and other information-based supervision means, and resolutely curb over-excavation and over-mining; It is necessary to implement the river sand and gravel mining and transportation management system and safety production measures to ensure that the project is carried out in a standardized and orderly manner; it is necessary to implement the permit and approval requirements, stop sand mining activities immediately after the permit expires or reaches the permitted amount, and after the completion of the comprehensive utilization project of silt and sand, lift the sand mining machines and tools in time, remove the obstacles to flood discharge in the river, and do a good job in ecological restoration, so as to ensure flood control safety and ecological safety.
