Obviously, I have been in the industry for a long time. Why do some people in the industry make people confused as soon as they open their mouths? After consulting with a red face, the heart can not help but ask, what is the sand and gravel industry "slang" that makes people confused?

2. Classification
of professional sand and stone specifications 1. Classification
of stone specifications In the mining industry, the particle size of stones is usually between 5mm and 31.5mm. Common stone specifications are as follows: 0-5 sand for 0-5mm sand; 5-1stone for 5-10 mm gravel; 1-2 stone for 10-20 mm gravel; 1-3 stone for 16-31.5mm gravel; 2-4 stone for 10-15 mm gravel; 4-6 stone for 15-20mm gravel. People often refer to 12 stones and 13 stones, which actually refer to 1-2 stones and 1-3 stones, which can be distinguished by referring to the above introduction.
2. The specification
of sand refers to the standard of construction sand in China. Sand refers to the rock debris formed and accumulated in natural conditions such as lakes, seas, rivers and mountains with a particle size of less than 5mm, or the construction particles with a particle size of less than 4.75 mm processed by mining machines. The fineness of sand can be divided as follows according to the fineness modulus:
coarse sand: the fineness modulus is 3.7-3.1, and the average particle size is more than 0.5mm.
Medium sand: the fineness modulus is 3.0-2.3, and the average particle size is 0.5-0.35mm.
Fine sand: the fineness modulus is 2.2-1.6 and the average grain size is 0.35-0.25 mm.
Superfine sand: fineness modulus of 1.5-0.7, average grain size of 0.25 mm or less.
Note: Medium sand shall be selected for concrete preparation in daily production.
3. Terms
of unit conversion in practice 1. Conversion
between square and ton In actual production, the weight is often estimated by the number of space cubes. The common conversions of stones and sand are listed as follows:
(1) Stone: 1 cubic meter of whole stone weighs about 2 tons; 1 cubic meter of ordinary stone weighs about 1.5 tons; 1 cubic meter of 12 stones weighs about 1.5 tons; 1 cubic meter of 05 stones weighs about 1.7 tons.
(2) Sand: 1 cubic meter of dry sand weighs about 1.5 tons, 1 cubic meter of wet sand weighs about 1.7 tons, 1 cubic meter of coarse sand weighs about 1.65 tons, 1 cubic meter of fine sand weighs about 1.4 tons, and 1 cubic meter of medium sand weighs about 1.5 tons. Refer to the following figure for the specific conversion details between
different materials and tons.
2. Conversion
between items and millimeters In the process of purchasing finished products of sand and gravel materials, the number of items is often used to distinguish different specifications of sand and gravel materials. The conversion between the common subject number and the material particle size is listed as follows: the mesh number of the sand and gravel material with the particle size of 2mm is 10; the mesh number of the sand and gravel material with the particle size of 0.9mm is 20; the mesh number of the sand and gravel material with the particle size of 0.333mm is 50; and the mesh number of the sand and gravel material with the particle size of 0.224mm is 70. The following figure is attached with a partial detailed comparison table of conversion between grain size and mesh number of sand and gravel materials.
