Recently, the 5,000-ton "Shishin 3" sand and gravel seagoing vessel docked at the temporary wharf of Dongaoshan Green Mine in Jintang, Dinghai. With the slow movement of the needle pendulum loader on the wharf, the sand and gravel aggregates were continuously transported into the cabin through the closed transmission corridor. This marks that Zhoushan Branch of China Gezhouba No.1 Company has officially launched the sales business of sand and gravel aggregates.
It is understood that the Dongaoshan construction stone (tuff) mine is located on the south side of the Jintang Island, and in June 2021, China Gezhouba No.1 Company obtained the mining right through public bidding. The mining area is about 0.3064 square kilometers, and the resources within the mining license are about 22.1286 million tons. The mine was established in November last year through a green mine, which is also the only green mine project of Gezhouba No.1 Company in China.
At present, the company has established a smart mine management and control platform, from mining to processing to sand and gravel transportation, to achieve accurate control of data statistics. There is an automatic spraying system with a total length of about 2 kilometers in the mining area, and the spraying water comes from the production water circulation, so as to achieve zero discharge of wastewater. Today, the mine has basically achieved 99% resource utilization rate. Relevant person in charge of
the company told reporters that the mining area has superior shipping conditions. Through wharf transportation, high-quality sand and gravel aggregate products will be transported to Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, Nantong, Ningbo, Jiaxing and other places to provide high-quality and green raw materials for local infrastructure construction and alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of local sand and gravel aggregates.
