Taihu Lake Xincang Tashan River Sand Mining Site Officially Starts Mining Operation

The river sand mining site in Tashan section of Changhe River in Xincang officially started sand mining and supply on February 23, and Peng Teng, deputy head of the county, went to the site to supervise the river sand mining work.

At the sand mining site, Peng Teng inspected in detail the sand mining operation site, the operation process of sand transportation in and out of the station, and pointed out that the management of sand mining in rivers is related to the ecological environment and the vital interests of the broad masses of the people, and that the local governments and functional departments should effectively improve their political positions, fully understand the importance and urgency of sand mining in rivers, and give full play to their respective functions.
