On August 18, Longji Green Energy's annual production of 20g W monocrystalline silicon rods, 24 GW monocrystalline batteries and supporting projects were officially started in Weibei New Town, Jingkai District, Xi'an.
The project is located in Weibei New Town, Jingkai District, Xi'an, covering an area of 2200 mu, and will build an annual output of 12 GW monocrystalline batteries , 20 GW monocrystalline silicon rods and Longji Global Innovation Center. In Xi'an, an annual output of 20GW monocrystalline silicon rods, 24GW monocrystalline batteries and supporting projects will be built.
In the announcement, Longji Green Energy said that the overall planning of the project is divided into three phases, the first phase of the project is an annual output of 12 GW monocrystalline battery project and 20 GW monocrystalline silicon rod project, with an estimated investment amount . It is expected to start production gradually in the second half of 2024 and reach production by the end of 2025.
The second phase is a monocrystalline battery project with an annual output of 12 GW, with an estimated investment of 3.5 billion yuan (including liquidity);
the third phase is a reserved expansion and supporting industrial chain project; at the same time, supporting the construction of Longji Global Innovation Center project. Among them, the supporting Longji Global Innovation Center project is expected to invest about 1.5 billion yuan .
If the third phase of the project is completed, the total investment is expected to be far more than 12.5 billion yuan .
