At
the ceremony site, with the last concrete pouring in place, the R & D building of Honghui New Energy's annual production of 10g W heterojunction battery dedicated monocrystalline silicon wafer project was officially capped. At present, the construction of the project has entered the final sprint stage. The main structure construction of the factory building and dormitory building has been completed. The installation of the process electromechanical equipment is being accelerated. It is expected that the equipment will be moved in by the end of October this year and the ignition will be put into operation in November. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan and an area of about 144 mu, the
project adopts N-type 210 half-rod ultra-thin cutting and supporting impurity absorption technology through advanced technological advantages such as ultra-thin, large-size cutting (half-cutting, thin-cutting, thin-washing) and digital flexible manufacturing. To meet the basic demands of thinner silicon wafers and smaller tolerances for heterojunction batteries, we are committed to becoming an advanced processing center for special silicon wafers for heterojunction batteries.
Previously, Honghui New Energy and Huasheng New Energy signed a framework contract for the purchase and sale of monocrystalline silicon wafers for 15g W heterojunction batteries. The contract stipulates that from November 2023 to November 2026, Huasheng New Energy and its related parties plan to purchase a total of 15GW monocrystalline silicon wafers for heterojunction batteries from Honghui New Energy, with an annual purchase volume of about 5GW. After the
project reaches production, it will not only effectively guarantee the company's supply capacity, further expand the company's production capacity, form industrial synergy, and comprehensively enhance the company's market competitiveness, sustainability and profitability in the photovoltaic field. At the same time, it will make a long-term contribution to the high-quality development of Xuancheng photovoltaic industry and the achievement of the national double-carbon goal.
