The total investment is 11.8 billion! Hongyuan Phase I 50,000 Tons of High Purity Silicon Production! Formally open up the whole industry chain

On August 31, the 50,000-ton high-purity silicon project of Hongyuan Energy was officially put into operation in Guyang County, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, laying the foundation for the integration of Hongyuan photovoltaic industry chain. Yao Junjie, Secretary of Guyang County Party Committee, Yang Jianliang, Chairman of Hongyuan Green Energy Group, and other leaders jointly witnessed.

Hongyuan Energy High-purity Silicon Project is located in Guyang County, Baotou City, covering an area of about 1700 mu, with a total investment of about 11.8 billion yuan. The 50000 tons of N-type high-purity silicon project put into operation today will all be used as raw materials for downstream crystal pulling and slicing in the future to further enhance the stability and competitiveness of the industrial chain.

High-purity silicon production adopts advanced improved Siemens process route, which has the characteristics of high conversion rate, low cost, high purity, less impurities and high quality, laying a solid foundation for the excellent performance of Hongyuan full-chain photovoltaic products.

The densification rate of the first batch of high-purity silicon products put into operation is over 90%, and the quality reaches the first level of electronics. While pursuing high quality products, Hongyuan has always adhered to digital, intelligent and green manufacturing, adopted a series of energy-saving and emission reduction management measures in the production and manufacturing links, and promoted energy-saving and consumption reduction from five aspects of technology, electricity, construction, water supply and drainage, and production management, with all energy consumption indicators reaching the advanced level of the industry. The "zero discharge" of waste gas, waste water and waste residue has been realized, which adds luster to the green scenic line of the northern part of the motherland.

Following the launch of Hongyuan N-type TOPCon batteries and components on June 30 and July 25 , the successful commissioning of Hongyuan N-type high-purity silicon project marks the formal opening of the last link of Hongyuan photovoltaic industry chain. It fully guarantees the efficient linkage, stability and reliability of the whole process of photovoltaic product manufacturing.
