湖北省作为国内首批启动的试点碳市场之一，自2014年运行以来已达三年之久。葛洲坝水泥作为第一批碳排放控排企业，积极响应国家政策号召参与碳市场建设，三年来参与了国内首例CCER碳众筹项目、现货远期等多种形式的碳交易模式，同时先后在二级碳市场交易碳排放权配额300多万吨，约占湖北现货交易市场的7%。
在2017年全国碳市场交易启动之际，葛洲坝水泥将进一步完善自身碳资产管理，投身到全国碳市场的建设中，为全国碳市场启动添砖加瓦。
