Hubei Province issued the "Ultra-low Emission Transformation Plan for the Cement Industry in Hubei Province", requiring that by the end of 2025, more than half of the cement clinker production capacity will be transformed, and the production capacity of large enterprises such as Huaxin and Gezhouba will reach the ultra-low emission standard above 2500 tons per day. By the end of 2028, all cement clinker production enterprises and independent grinding stations in the province need to complete ultra-low emission transformation, and new or expanded projects must also meet the standards.
The national recommended standard of GB/T21372-2024 "Portland Cement Clinker" will be implemented on October 1, 2024, replacing the 2008 edition. The new standard adds new physical indexes of clinker variety, strength grade and characteristics, and adds the limit requirements of chloride ion, radioactivity, water-soluble chromium (VI) and heavy metal content to pay attention to the impact of environment and human health. At the same time, the indexes of insoluble matter and ignition loss are reduced, the strength grades of clinker are subdivided, the physical characteristics of special cement clinker are strengthened, and the detailed regulations of physical performance test methods are provided, so as to improve the practicability of the standard and reduce trade disputes.

8、 Release of ultra-low emission transformation schedule for 54 clinker production lines including Huaxin, Gezhouba and Yadong
Hubei Province issued the Implementation Plan for Ultra-low Emission Transformation of Cement Industry, which plans that by the end of 2025, more than 50% of cement clinker production capacity will have completed ultra-low emission transformation, and the main production capacity transformation of Huaxin, Gezhouba, Yadong and other large cement groups will have been completed, with 30 performance-leading enterprises. By the end of 2028, the cement clinker production enterprises and independent grinding stations in the province have basically completed the transformation.
