2025, Pakistan's cement shipments increased slightly by 1.47%, with total sales reaching 4.347 million tons, compared with 4.284 million tons in the same period last year. Data from the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association showed that local shipments in December were 3.725 million tons, up 6.42% year-on-year, while exports continued to decline by 20.66% to 621700 tons, compared with 783600 tons in the same period last year.
In December, cement plants in the north supplied 3.153 million tons to domestic and foreign markets, up 5.56% year-on-year; cement plants in the south delivered 1.19 million tons, down 7.94% year-on-year. Shipments to the northern home market rose 9.75% to 3.153 million tons, while southern manufacturers offered 572,300 tons, down 8.81% from a year earlier. Southern exports fell 7.14% to 621700 tons, and northern factories did not export in December. In the first six months of this
fiscal year (July-December), the total shipment volume was 25.783 million tons, up 9.67% year-on-year. Local shipments increased by 13.11% to 21.152 million tons, while exports fell by 3.73% to 4.631 million tons. The northern plant shipped 17.915 million tons locally, up 14.67%; exports fell 18.53% to 808,500 tons; total shipments rose 12.68% to 18.723 million tons. Local shipments from southern plants rose 5.22% to 3.237 million tonnes; exports were essentially flat at 3.822 million tonnes; and total shipments rose 2.39% to 7.059 million tonnes.
